New York Day 4

Today was another day filled with networking and marketing. I had a meeting early this morning but it got cancelled as I started to walk so we instead went to the Israeli Parade that was just starting down on 5th Street. We got a spot right in front of Trump Tower in the front. It was quite an experience to see all of the culture and pride as each group and float came down the street. I had no idea there were so many Jewish people here! It was a pretty amazing experience and one we were really lucky to stumble upon. The rain was absolutely torrential, we were both soaked to the bone even with an umbrella! I added some videos to this post so be sure to click on them!

In the process of trying to dodge the rain we ducked into an adorable store called Mackenzie Childs that has some dream tea sets and cake trays. In love with the patterns and how they had the store staged!

We ended the day with some Olive Garden (lame I know). It was just so convenient! We were very disappointed to find that the salad here was not "never-ending" like it is in Oregon. They charged us $5 without telling us for the additional salad. It hit the spot though. We toured again through M&M world because we can't wrap our minds around how one candy can have a 3 story store. Fun night! This next week starts the hard work of putting my head down and going to agency meetings, shooting and networking. Glad we got a little day to relax before the real work starts!
